A Primer on Pediatric Pharmacotherapy for Symptom Management

This program is designed to give clinicians an overview of the management of pediatric patients at the end of life. This program will discuss barriers to pediatric care, pharmacokinetics in pediatrics, symptom assessment, and palliative options for symptoms such as pain, seizures, nausea, anxiety, anemia, fatigue, and constipation. The program will also review two case studies focusing on anencephaly and brain cancer.
