FDA Reports Opioid Shortage
The Food and Drug Administration recently reported a shortage of oxycodone immediate release tablets. In December, KV Pharmaceutical of St. Louis voluntarily suspended all shipments of its FDA-approved tablets and recalled a single production lot of hydromorphone HCl 2 mg tablets after the report of an oversized tablet.
