Annual Patient Satisfaction Survey Reveals That 97% Find HP’s Service to be ‘Excellent’
PHILADELPHIA, PA -- May 22, 2009 – Hospice Pharmacia (HP), a division of excelleRx, has released their annual patient survey results. HP surveys patients to gather feedback and status reports on their patient’s satisfaction with HP services. Surveys were sent out over a two week period in the first quarter of 2009, and over 1,000 responses were received.
The results were concurrent with HP’s founding vision, established over 14 years ago: pharmacy services that improve patient quality of life.
Most important pharmacy services as reported by patients and their families:
Delivery and Timeliness – 36%
Medication Accuracy & Information – 21%
Comfort – 9%
Patients weigh in on how well HP meets their needs and services:
Very well – 90%
Pretty good – 9%
HP reports that over 97% of those surveyed reported that their perception of HP’s services was ‘excellent.’
One patient said “Thank God for the help you folks give. The people that come in are very nice and the medicine helps a lot. I could not pay for all the help I get and the kindness also. Again, thank God!” While a caregiver reported that “The recommendations and follow-through of our hospice have greatly improved the quality of life for my husband.”
