NHPCO Releases Healthcare Reform Resolution
The NHPCO has issued a Healthcare Reform Resolution that asks legislators and policymakers to consider hospice patients and end-of-life care when developing plans to reform the current healthcare system. The resolution calls for enhanced access to timely care, applying evidence-based standards, the creation of a framework for educational and training opportunities, among many others.
