Safe Use of Methadone Campaign Initiated by Federal Agencies

A collaborative public awareness campaign has been launched by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration's Center for Substance Abuse Treatment and the Food and Drug Administration to raise awareness about methadone as a safe treatment for pain management when take as directed.
